Curious about all those birds outside your window? Or want to improve your ID skills? Join us as we meet our local birds and learn about their natural history and pick up easy ID tips. We’ll also see how easy it is to set up a bird feeding station, discover easy community science projects and learn what birdwatching gear to take into the field.

All ages, abilities and experience welcome.

Amy Simso Dean has been birding for over 25 years. She founded MYBirdClub (a birdwatching club for kids) and co-founded The Kestrels (an inclusive bird club for MN women). She volunteers with Audubon Chapter of Minneapolis and also works part time at The Raptor Center. As much as she loves birding, she really loves getting people, especially kids, excited about birds and conservation.
