Minnesota author and journalist Nancy Atkinson takes a different look at the Apollo program in her book, "Eight Years to the Moon: The History of the Apollo Missions.” In her presentation, Nancy will share behind-the-scenes stories from dozens of unsung Apollo engineers and scientists, (including some from Minnesota) who contributed to successfully landing humans on the Moon. Her presentation includes many remarkable images from the Apollo missions and those incredible, unparalleled days in the 1960's.
