Objectives:
1. To review the stages Alzheimer’s Disease
2. To share the first steps of what to do when the care recipient receives a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease or dementia, including what information is important to gather and share and recommendations for working with the health care team, such as what to ask and bring to health care appointments.
3. To provide an overview of resources and support that offer help to caregivers and persons living with memory loss across the stages of dementia
4. To emphasize the importance of and share recommendations and strategies for stress management and self-care for caregivers
