2018 is the 200th anniversary of the publication of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.  The Keats-Shelley Association of America is sponsoring a wide variety of events for October 2018.  They are encouraging libraries, schools, and universities to participate in a variety of ways.  More information can be found at http://frankenreads.org.

The Douglas County Library will be hosting viewings of the classic movies: Frankenstein (1931) and Young Frankenstein (1974), and hosting the discussion of the book itself, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley on October 31st.
