Space Robot Robots can be programmed to do all kinds of things and can go places that people cannot. The “Phoenix Mars Lander” is one example of a robotic machine built by NASA to explore the surface of Mars. In this lesson, students will build a space robot with Lego Bricks and discuss the types of tasks robots can be programmed to do. Students will learn about Mars and the information gained from the Phoenix missions. Vocabulary includes robot, programmed.
